There’s a certain current way of thinking that seems to assume transness as the general condition for most people. That is ANY departure from absolute sex-roles (stereotypes) is considered a sign of transness. Since most people do not completely conform to sex stereotypes therefore, most people are trans to some degree. As a gender nonconforming woman with a gnc childhood and adolescence, I take issue with this. You know it’s really bad when you’re glad you’re not a lot younger.
